About Us

Who
“Let’s not simply talk about good things, let’s actually do them.”
This was a quote that came out of one of our Renown discussions.  We came to the conclusion that all of us are simply too busy to have another meeting to go to each week.
Our goal is not to be another entry on your to-do list, but rather, a catalyst to your personal growth!
Over the past two years, Renown has had over 2400 people in attendance.  We are a group focused on “faith-based leadership development.”
What does that mean?
Ultimately, we are committed to helping people connect to Christ, experience lasting personal transformation, and as a result, positively influence the people around them.
What to expect on Thursday nights
Each Thursday, Renown meets at Shea’s Express from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.  Dinner is available, but optional, for $7.
Each night, a facilitator leads a discussion, as the entire group weighs in and gives their opinions, often debating various perspectives.
Renown addresses issues that young adults are facing in ways that no other organization does.  Discussions range from finding a life partner, handling pornography addictions, identifying the difference between how men and women think, possessing business savy, to comparing religious extremism.
At the end of the night, attendees will have the chance to network with community leaders and visit resource tables to get information on opportunities, local and global, to join social justice intiatives.
Why
Our current world has many experiencing anxiety.  The economy, lack of jobs, and dicey international relations are all concerns for people nowadays.  However, though our future is unpredictable, there is a crucial component to securing it:  preparing and developing tomorrow’s leaders.  Renown is taking deliberate and intentional steps to speak into the lives of future leaders.
Our Vision

  • authentic relationships
  • networking opportunities
  • life developing discussions
  • Our Mission
Help young adults integrate faith, culture, career and relationships maximizing their ability to impact their community.
