There are more and more appeals from culture and political avenues seeking the public sector to meet the needs of Americans. Whether it’s the victims of the recent natural disasters or local impoverished sectors of communities, it’s the people of these places that are making a difference.
Rehabilitating prisoners, feeding the hungry, housing the homeless, repairing destroyed homes, and giving lives value and worth are much better served by faith-based organizations and non-profits.
If that’s true, than what part can each of us play? What part will you play?

I know I have learned recently that we can make a big difference in peoples lives by just being ourselves. I had a situation in which someone informed me of how I had made a difference in their life by just being friendly. If we are open to what God wants us to do. We could have these moments more often in our lives.
When I leave this earth and go to heaven I want to be known for all the good I have done and I try to work on that every day that I am alive. I have learned if it is as much as just listening to someones problems. Main thing I learned is they dont want to hear your stories about the situation..they just want you to LISTEN..
