Anyone that knows me, knows that I like to wear clothes with a certain amount of intentional flair. Admittedly, my “taste” is a bit on the loud side. I like to call it: “make a statement” kind-of -couture.
My wife has commented on some of my shirts saying that only I could pull off wearing them - I’m sure that’s a compliment…I hope it’s a compliment!
In order to find these extroverted expressions of clothing, I maintain an ever alert state of readiness when shopping. It’s a challenge I thoroughly enjoy.
Twice in the past 2 weeks, I passed through Scottsboro and stopped at Unclaimed Baggage, finding a plethora of fashionable duds. I couldn’t decide what to buy. Even on my second trip, I walked away with nothing.
Was it price? Was it the wrong name brand? Was it texture?
None of the above.
It was time, or lack thereof.
Many guys I know just want to grab a shirt, any shirt, “slide in” and go.
That would be great except for the fact that some shirts might not be the best fit. In fact, a shirt may be uncomfortable or cause irritation… Truth is, some shirts may even make you look like a fool.
There are too many unique, varied and enticing options. Yet, putting in the time, being patient in finding the right shirt and not just any shirt, that’s really the key to being happy with your decision.
We’re talking about SEX this week. Sex is supposed to be so pleasurable and satisfying. Why does it leave so many feeling so bad?
